Strand offers, alongside its software products, a Software Service and Support Maintenance Program(SSMP). The SSMP offers a low cost option for phone support and all software upgrades as they become available.

Service and Support can be purchased with the initial software order and on an annual basis each year. If the plan has a time lapse, SSMP is not offered as an add-on to a previously purchased product. With the SSMP purchase, customers are entitled to to receive all released new versions of their software, including both interim and major releases. Depending on the product line, Strand offers annual or multi-year SSPs.

Having a valid SSMP may easily lead to quantifiable savings for your organization: The standard cost of a product upgrade is normally 30% of the MSRP for a single upgrade, the whole Service and Support cost per year is much lower than a single software upgrade, and you will be entitled to receive maintenance and support as well as all upgrades released in the covered period.
